Karen Whitney, Board Certified Physician Assistant, has specialized in non-surgical cosmetic procedures, including facial injectables, light-based treatments, tattoo removal, skin rejuvenation, and the evaluation and treatment of leg veins, for the past 22 years.
Board Certified since 1976, the first 20 years of her career were devoted to primary care and women’s health. As a top national 250 injector of Botox and Juvederm with Advanced Cosmetic Surgery & Laser Center, she was selected to participate with Allergan Medical Institute, making her part of an elite group of medical providers as an Allergan Injector Trainer. This program was developed by the manufacturers of Botox®, Juvederm, Kybella, and Latisse, to ensure optimal patient outcomes across the United States, by training physicians and other aesthetic healthcare practitioners. Karen is one of only 210 injectors across the US to be chosen. In addition to technique and experience, understanding the desires and concerns of the patient, sharing treatment options and expected outcomes, and relieving concerns about treatment are important aspects of focus for Karen.

Ms. Whitney stays at the forefront of non-surgical cosmetic treatments by attending various Aesthetic conferences and trainings. She is a member of the Ohio Association of Physician Assistants, the Association of Plastic Surgery Physician Assistants, and American Academy of Physician Assistants.

Whitney has performed sclerotherapy treatments since 1996, facial injectables since 2002, and has been selected by Allergan, the manufacturer of Botox and Juvederm, to be a National Trainer with the Allergan Medical Institute. She stays at the forefront of the field by attending various aesthetic conferences.

Born and raised in Cincinnati, Whitney graduated from Oak Hills High School, Cincinnati State, and University of Cincinnati. She currently resides in Anderson. When she is not working, she enjoys boating, water skiing, stand-up paddling on the Ohio River, hiking, gardening and cooking.
