CINCINNATI, OH – October 8, 2018 – Advanced Cosmetic Surgery & Laser Center has recently launched a new Cosmetic Division known as “Studio A,” allowing them to enhance their overall patient experience by expand the non-surgical offerings or cosmetic treatments for patients.
Says Dr. Jon Mendelsohn, “By expanding our practice, we can now offer our patients a full-line of skin-care services – both surgically and cosmetically. We recently hired Hope Schweitzer Merz, a certified Family Nurse Practitioner who holds a Doctorate degree in Nursing and brings more than a decade of experience in providing patients with the highest level of skin care for their medical dermatological needs, while also providing them with the latest, cutting-edge treatments in aesthetic skin care.”
With the addition of Merz, the Advanced “Studio A” team is now comprised of four, highly-trained medical professionals, (Karen; PA, Hope; DNP, FNP-C, Mickey; RN and Roxanne; RN), who use Botox and other injectables, such as hyaluronic acid fillers to instantly reduce or eliminate facial lines and folds. Alongside these four will be long-time aesthetician Wendy Flynn, providing state of the art skin care treatments. Physician’s Assistant Karen Whitney will continue to perform sclerotherapy as well as IPL (intense pulsed-light) technology, miraDry (for hyperhidrosis or excessive underarm perspiration) and PicoSure laser tattoo removal. Dr. Hope Merz will be performing innovative aesthetic services, such as microneedling and platelet-rich-plasma facial rejuvenation, a variety of laser therapies to visibly reduce signs of aging, scarring and sun damage, along with medical dermatological services.
In order to accommodate their patients, Advanced will also begin offering convenient earlier and late weekday hours from 7am-7pm several days a week as well as Saturday hours several times a month.
“Additionally,” says Mendelsohn, “our patients will notice that bit of remodeling is taking place. Nimbus Nine Interior Design firm is converting our back waiting room area into hip and trendy ‘Members Only Studio A Lounge,’ that may be enjoyed by all of our WISH Rewards program participants.”
Also in the works as a part of this expansion include a new 900 square foot production facility that will be used for taping patients as they tell the stories of their cosmetic and surgical transformations as part of the ongoing “True Selfies” series, and also for commercial production and live streaming of both cosmetic and surgical procedures.
The “Studio A” soft launch will take place throughout the month of October, with special pricing for Botox at the price of just $9.99 per unit on Fridays.
A formal “Relax, Rewind and Look Your Best” launch party will take place in January, 2019, with a special celebrity host.
