How long has platelet gel been used?
Since about 1997.
How long has Dr. Mendelsohn used platelet gel?
Since about 1997.
Who uses platelet gels?
Many surgeons from many different specialties including neurosurgeons, cardiovascular surgeons, oral surgeons, orthopedic surgeons and many others. The process by which it is now produced allows plastic surgery patients to derive the same benefits.
Is the use of platelet gel in plastic surgery going to skyrocket in the next year?
Without a doubt. Since Dr. Mendelsohn has started using PRP (platelet rich plasma) almost 20 years ago, its indications have skyrocketed.
How common is incontinence in women?
More than 13 million Americans have incontinence, and women are twice as likely to have it as men, according the Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality. About 25% to 45% of women suffer from urinary incontinence, defined as leakage at least once in the past year.
• 10% women have no orgasm
• 4 of 10 women sexually dysfunction – includes low libido, low desire, low arousal
• requires 1 treatment, (sometimes a second treatment is useful)
• PRP improves neurovascular function resulting in increased sensation and rejuvenation of vaginal tissues.
Our aestheticians use PRP for various treatments with fantastic results.
What is PRP? simply Platelet rich plasma (PRP) is a component of our own blood. We draw about 30 cc of blood, spin it down in a centrifuge for about 15 minutes. This separates our blood into several different components, one being Platelet Rich Plasm, Platelets as you may know are a type of blood cell. They are one of the cells for example that help stop bleeding when there is an injury. But more importantly, the platelets contain what we call platelet derived growth factors.. simply – healing factors. This helps to encourage healing and rejuvenates tissues. –
So – you’ve probably heard of the Vampire facelift, and other uses in the face. Well, now there is another use that is quite exciting… literally.
The first thing has to do with what up to 45% of women experience, which is urinary incontinence , very simply, many women leak urine when they cough, sneeze, laugh etc. PRP has been shown to improve these symptoms often with just a single treatment. It helps by generating a thicker and healthy vaginal wall near the urethra thereby diminishing problems with leakage. Simple.

Here’s the bonus – the Advanced WOW shot, you might guess what it helps with. Yep – it helps increase the health of the neurovascular tissues that result in greater sensitivity in the erogenous zones of women that helps with sexual function and better orgasms.
We know that more than 10% of women do not experience orgasms and about 40% have other sexual problems including low libido, low arousal .
While there has been Viagra for men, the WOW shOt is for women!
Dr. Ruynels coined the name O-shot and has his process and the name “O-shot” trademarked. Dr. Mendelsohn is not an affiliate of this program and is NOT collecting personal data for these purposes. As Dr. Jon Mendelsohn has almost 20 years of experience with Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP) for the use of PRP for facelifts, PRP for Eyelids (Blepharoplasty), PRP for Nose jobs (Rhinoplasty, PRP for Hair Loss (Hair Transplantation), PRP for Skin Rejuvenation, PRP as a Filler, PRP as Selphyl, PRP in Breast Augmentation, PRP for Wound Healing and PRP for many other uses, we call our unique procedure the Advanced Wow Shot in 3 specific vaginal regions: Clitoris (sexual enhancement), Posterior Urethral Wall (urinary leakage solution), G-spot (sexual enhancement).
