Facial procedure, fillers help give natural look

NORWOOD, Ohio (WKRC) – For months, Local 12 has been following the story of a local woman who wanted a facelift that nobody could tell she got. It’s commonly referred to as the natural lift, and it does come with some pretty natural-looking results.
When Local 12 first met Christine Greenwell at the Advanced Cosmetic Surgery & Laser Center, this cancer survivor, mother and grandmother said for years she always felt like she looked tired.
So, Dr. Jon Mendelsohn, a facial plastic surgeon, placed a tiny incision by her ear, a lift in her eyelids and an implant in her chin for a facelift designed to look natural. He says when it comes to sagging skin with fat in it, they don’t want to remove the fat, but reposition it.
When Local 12 returned several weeks later, Greenwell said she was already thrilled with her results.
“I just feel so fresh and new and just so ready to start this whole new phase of my life,” Greenwell said.
Some fillers as finishing touches were done on Greenwell in Local 12’s studio.

“Fillers and nonsurgical treatments are complementary to what we do surgically,” said Dr. Mendelsohn.
The goal is just to continue to enhance rather than stretch the skin so much it’s too tight.
“What happens is that there are certain things nonsurgically that are done that surgery just can’t touch,” Dr. Mendelsohn said.
This facelift costs about $10,000 to $15,000. Some include fillers as part of the initial cost.
