Hope Schweitzer Merz, DNP, FNP-C is a Certified Nurse Practitioner specializing in Medical and Cosmetic Dermatology for over ten years. We are thrilled to have Hope with the team here at the Advanced Cosmetic Surgery & Laser Center. Dr. Hope looks forward to meeting you in her new home!
Dr. Hope is certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. She received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Cincinnati in 2007 and discovered a passion for skin health with her experience caring for acute and rehabilitative burn patients at Shriners Hospital as a Registered Nurse. She furthered her education, achieving a Master of Science in Nursing along with State Board Certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner in 2011 and was inducted into Sigma Theta Tau Nursing Honors Society for Nurse Practitioner Excellence. She has since practiced in a private dermatology office, treating patients for medical dermatological needs and providing the latest cutting-edge treatments in aesthetic care. Her gentle nature, exceptional technique, and eye for excellence has organically grown into a greater focus in the field of aesthetic medicine.
In April of 2018, Hope graduated Magna Cum Laude with her Doctorate Degree in Nursing and recently completed a successful clinical trial to improve skin health. She prides herself in providing the highest quality aesthetic care for her patients and is excited to bring her expertise to our practice.
Hope comes to Advanced Cosmetic Surgery & Laser Center with a wealth of knowledge in overall skin health, along with experience in a multitude of cosmetic procedures. Amongst many treatments she loves to offer her patients are injectable fillers and neurotoxin, facial rejuvenation with platelet-rich-plasma and microneedling, and laser treatments to treat various skincare needs.
Dr. Hope was born into a medical family, with her father being an Orthopedic Surgeon and her mother an Associate Professor of Clinical Nursing at the University of Cincinnati. She grew up in Hyde Park and now resides in Anderson with her husband Brian and loveable Goldendoodle Charlie. In her free time, she enjoys being with family, hiking, swimming, tennis, skiing and partaking in art classes around town.
