This can come in the form of solar lentigines which is the medical term for sunspots. Yet many refer to these as liver spots freckles or age spots another form that skin pigmentation can present in is called the plasma. This appears as brown patches mixed with lighter spots typically on the cheeks and the forehead. Sometimes genetically we can get a diffuse darkening to our skin which presents more as an uneven skin tone. There are many ways to banish dark spots but first we’ll talk about a product you can add to your skincare routine at home called hydroquinone the best cream for brown spots as hydroquinone which works to suppress our skin’s ability to produce melanin. Melanin is released from the melanocytes and is what appears Brown throughout our skin. Short term use of hydroquinonequinine can be very effective for removal of hyper pigmentation Hydroquinone cream can be a little irritating. So an anti inflammatory medication like Hydro cortisone may be added to help protect skin and avoid any post inflammatory hyper pigmentation. This product is used twice per day in the 4 percent formulation. And the 8 percent is just used once per day. Typically we recommend using this product consistently for about two months and then taking a two to four week break to allow time for certain components in the skin to rebuild.
