9 out of 10 women are estimated to have cellulite, which is dimpling of the skin over the buttocks and thighs. You may be wondering what causes cellulite. Fibrous bands called Septae attach the skin to underlying tissue.

The fatty tissue or lobules under the skin is divided by the septa, which pushes against the skin and causes dimpling. In addition, thinning skin allows the depressions to be more apparent.

QWO consists of a series of tiny injections which appears to trigger the breakdown of the fibrous bands. This, in turn, releases the dimpling of the skin and allows the subcutaneous or surface fat, to reorganize and become smoother. It also stimulates new college to thicken the skin.
