Says Mendelsohn, “Crisalex is a cloud based 3D software program which allows us to upload real photos of a patient prior to any type of surgical or non–surgical procedure and help them to realistically visualize the end results. Whether they are having a facelift, Rhinoplasty, breast augmentation or reduction, liposuction, or any type of facial injectable such as Botox or facial fillers – Crisalex allows us to simulate the desired end result with amazing accuracy.”
He continues, “When a patient comes into our office, we will take photos of the areas of their face or body that they are looking to improve upon. The Crisalix software then allows us to enhance these photos to accurately depict the end result – whether that means improving the jowl lines with a facelift, or eliminating frown lines with Botox. The patient wears special 3D goggles that allow him or her to envision the end result following surgery or other treatments. This is very cutting edge and will help our patients make better informed decisions before undergoing any type of surgical or non-surgical procedure.”
Mendelsohn adds, “Crisalex was created in 2009, and is currently being used in 100 countries. It is relatively new to the U.S. and we are proud to be the first in Cincinnati to offer it to our patients as part of our standard consultation process.”
